Abstract

This article presents the results of a comprehensive study on modern trends in IT education in Uzbekistan. Analysis of statistical data for 2022-2024 showed that only 20% of the country's 7.5 million students have access to quality IT education. The main problems identified include: 50% of rural schools do not have access to the Internet, 75% of teachers do not have sufficient digital skills, and a serious gender imbalance in the IT sector (35% of women). Successful examples of addressing these problems are presented, including: mobile IT classrooms that increased student coverage by 40%; retraining programs that covered 6,000 teachers; and special gender programs that trained 1,500 girls. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the effectiveness of the "Digital Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy and the possibilities of adapting international experience (India, Germany, South Korea) to the conditions of Uzbekistan.
