In the present study, the effect of various carbon and nitrogen sources on protease biosynthesis by the Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain UzRSMMT-413 was investigated. The results of the studies showed that the maximum protease activity was observed on the medium using 0.4% galactose as a carbon source and 2 g/l urea as a nitrogen source; the protease activity for this strain was 24 U/ml. It was shown that the strains exhibited the ability to synthesize protease in a wide pH range from 4.0 to 8.0 with an optimum of pH = 6.0; the enzyme was stable in the temperature range of 40-60 °C; when the temperature increased to 70 °C, the activity remained above 50% of the optimum, and only at 80 °C did it decrease to 30%.
