The article provides a scientifically based analysis of modern psychological and pedagogical approaches to identifying the talents of students in the field of "Engineering Graphics". The possibilities of effective integration of innovative methods, psychological diagnostics and pedagogical monitoring tools in the development of students' graphic competencies are revealed. As a result, practical recommendations have been developed for the timely identification of talented students in engineering graphics and individual work with them. This work is of significant scientific and methodological importance for teachers and psychologists in higher educational institutions.
