ORGANIZING LESSONS AND ASSESSING STUDENTS' KNOWLEDGE IN THE CORNELL METHOD

The article highlights the scientific and theoretical foundations of the use of the Cornell method in the teaching process and its importance in increasing educational effectiveness. It is shown that the Cornell method creates an opportunity to systematically record students' knowledge, isolate key ideas, develop independent analysis and generalization skills. It also analyzes the possibilities of using this method to direct students' attention to the content of the lesson, effectively organize the consolidation process, and clearly define the criteria for assessing their knowledge.
