Abstract

This article analyzes the essence of the hermeneutic approach and its role in the development of students' social activity in the educational process. The hermeneutic approach allows organizing the processes of human understanding, comprehension, interpretation and entering into social communication on a didactic basis. The study analyzes hermeneutic methods that serve to increase students' social activity - dialogic interpretation, dialogue aimed at understanding, reflective question-and-answer and interactive interpretation exercises. Also, scientific and pedagogical mechanisms for eliminating conflicts between the social order and the student's actual activity are shown. The article pays special attention to the activation of the student's personal position in the educational environment, the formation of components such as empathy, reflection and cultural awareness. The results of the study indicate the need to improve the theoretical foundations and practical mechanisms of the hermeneutic approach in developing social activity in students.
