PREPARATION OF ALPHA AMYLASE-PRODUCING BACTERIA FOR PRODUCTION
Keywords:
Alpha-amylase; Bacillus; inoculum; submerged fermentation; solid-state fermentation; nutrient medium optimization.Abstract
This article reviews the practical and scientific aspects of preparing alpha-amylase-producing bacteria for industrial production. Strain selection, isolation, inoculum preparation, media optimization, submerged and solid-state fermentation methods, and downstream purification steps are covered in detail. The possibilities of increasing productivity through genetic optimization, statistical-based environmental parameter tuning, and the use of agro-industrial waste are also discussed. The article provides recommendations for scientific and practical research and industrial projects.
