Abstract

In the modern system of physical education, basketball occupies an
increasingly prominent place. This is explained by a number of reasons and, above all, the
effectiveness of sport as a means and method of physical education, its popularity, the
development and emergence of international sports relations, the steadily increasing general
cultural and prestigious significance of basketball in the modern world.
