Spectrophotometric determination of glycyrrhizic acid and flavonoids content of "FERRAKON" BFQ

Abstract

In this research work, the main active substance - glycyrrhizic acid and flavonoids in the "FERRAKON" biologically active supplement (BFQ) containing licorice root extract, developed by local manufacturers, was determined by spectrophotometric method. the results of the experiments are presented. It was found that the amount of glycyrrhizic acid in BFQ is 3.78%, and the amount of flavonoids is 9.97%.
