Ushbu tezisda ionlovchi nurlarning tabiiy va sun’iy manbalari, ularning inson salomatligi va atrof-muhitga ko‘rsatadigan zararli ta’sirlari tahlil qilinadi. Radiatsiya turlari (alfa, beta, gamma, neytron nurlari) va ularning organizmga kirib borish usullari ko‘rib chiqiladi. Tibbiyot, energetika va sanoatda foydalanish imkoniyatlari bilan birga, yadroviy falokatlar (Chernobyl, Fokushima) va radioaktiv chiqindilar muammosi keltirilgan. Xulosa qismida radiatsiyadan himoya qilishning zamonaviy usullari va xalqaro tashkilotlar (WHO, IAEA) tomonidan belgilangan me’yorlar haqida so‘z borad.
