FACTORS OF SOCIAL MOBILITY IN ANCIENT ROMAN SOCIETY
Abstract
In this article, Social mobility, the ability of individuals to move up or down the social hierarchy, was a complex and multifaceted phenomenon in ancient Roman society. Although the Roman Empire was known for its strict class structure and stratification, there were various factors that could affect an individual's ability to change social status.
